Our academy provides training to adults and children who wish to excel, with a vision of instilling winning attitudes and skills, to create champions both on and off the mat.

Jiu-Jitsu
Jiu-Jitsu is widely considered the most effective and efficient form of self-defense, proven time and again in the UFC and other MMA and submission grappling events. Our jiu-jitsu program provides training using the principles of leverage, technique, and precision for men, women and children of all ages and skill levels. Known as "The Gentle Art", jiu-jitsu is well known as a highly efficient way to utilize technique, angles, and leverage to counter brute strength in both competition, and self defense scenarios. At Evolution, our lineage stems from the world renowned Nova Uniao Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Brazil, providing authentic jiu-jitsu for both competition and self-defense. Classes are split between Gi (uniform) and No Gi training, and include a traditional warm up, followed by technical instruction, drilling and optional live sparring (rolling).
Every great journey should start with a strong foundation. Learning the world’s most efficient form of self defense is no different. We at Evolution believe that learning and maintaining a strong core of fundamental techniques is the most crucial step in a new student’s training. We take pride in the strong fundamental values taught by our instructors. After a strong foundation has been developed, students looking to test their skills in competition are encouraged to enter local, national and world class tournaments with our decorated competition team.
Boxing
Quite possibly the most traditional, and well known martial art, Boxing is one of the most recognizable sports in the world. Training in the traditional style made world famous by the renowned West End Gym, students will embark on a journey of mastering the art of angles and footwork, while performing one of the highest calorie burning activities available. Our classes teach the cornerstones of boxing, including proper stance, punching combinations, and head movement, while also emphasizing conditioning and endurance. Boxing is a fantastic way to improve cardiovascular health, coordination, and overall fitness while relieving stress and building confidence. Classes consist of a traditional warm up, followed by technique and drilling, padwork, as well as optional light sparring at the end of each class.

We also offer Women's Boxing classes, specifically designed to empower women through self-defense training, fitness, and community support. These classes focus on skill development in a welcoming and motivating environment, encouraging women of all levels to improve their technique and reach their fitness goals.​
Muay Thai
Muay Thai (Thai Boxing) is a martial art originating in Thailand. Known as “The Art Of 8 Limbs”, Muay Thai is a striking-based martial art that uses punches, kicks, elbows, and knees. Muay Thai is highly effective for both competition and self-defense, combining striking with clinch work for close-range combat. At Evolution, we train in the original Thai Style class format, with a traditional warm up, followed by technique, pad work, clinch work, and optional technical sparring during every session. Our classes are geared for everybody, from a first day beginner, to a seasoned fighter.

Muay Thai is a great full-body workout that helps burn calories and also build strength, endurance, and confidence. Whether you're looking to compete, improve self-defense skills, or simply get fit, our Muay Thai classes cater to all skill levels.​
Kids Martial Arts
Our Kids Martial Arts program is designed to help young students build discipline, confidence, and respect while learning valuable self-defense skills in a fun and safe environment. We offer two specialized classes for kids: Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai.

Jiu-Jitsu teaches children how to defend themselves through grappling, using leverage and technique to control opponents. It encourages problem-solving and patience, helping kids develop both mentally and physically.

Muay Thai introduces young students to the fundamentals of striking and defense, focusing on improving coordination, balance, and focus. This class is a great way for children to channel their energy positively while learning important life skills.
Our instructors work closely with kids to ensure they are learning in a supportive and encouraging environment, making martial arts training both fun and beneficial.
